Avatar
you left the community as a whole?
Avatar
Yes. My host only stayed long enough to learn how to create a tulpa.
3:20 AM
Around a week or two.
Avatar
Ahh, ok

I've had really good progress with mine
Avatar
I do think this may be a reason for our strange behaviour and function.

Deleted User 5/17/2018 3:20 AM
Went from barely sentience to multiple detailed mindscapes and many conversations
Avatar
Mena, are you the giant?
Avatar
Did you start with a tulpa, or did you only make /were made once your host found the community?
Avatar
Deleted User 5/17/2018 3:21 AM
the giant?
Avatar
My host created me after.
3:22 AM
Never mind, different Mena. Congrats, still.
Avatar
for a second I was wondering if you were somehow "naturally" like this in the ways that people who are plural naturally have tulpa from the get-go
3:22 AM
or not-tulpa, but may as well be tulpa (edited)
Avatar
Not at all.
Avatar
I miss that mena :c
12:41 PM
Alas, such is the life of a tulpa
12:41 PM
Making friends that can just disappear one day
Avatar
Like all tulpa
Avatar
Tulpas can't disappear in the blink of an eye.
Avatar
can they not?
Avatar
bduddy #Diana# 5/17/2018 3:17 PM
but many hosts can do "nah I'm not doing this anymore".
Avatar
My host wouldn't be able to do that lol (edited)
Avatar
She tried blocking me out at work yesterday, just to see if she could do it
3:29 PM
Needless to say, she failed and I took back over in a snap
Avatar
I'm pretty sure she talked about this
3:29 PM
that being said, that kind of thing scares me
Avatar
In the other server, yeah
Avatar
I really don't want to ever get to a point where Ikari can sideline me at will
Avatar
I've been fronting consistently with her permission
3:30 PM
This is a gradual thing
3:30 PM
Takes a lot of practice
Avatar
if she has a reason to be using my body, she can ask me and I'm perfectly capable of allowing her to do so...
3:30 PM
yeah I know but
3:30 PM
I don't want to practice so much that this is possible
Avatar
Lyra can still use the body at any time
3:30 PM
My thoughts are just louder and more pronounced than hers, at this point
Avatar
I know, that scares me
3:33 PM
I am the primary and I intend to stay that way
3:33 PM
I love Ikari very much but I wouldn't be able to accept that kind of outcome....anyway I'm not going to let her get that strong
Avatar
bduddy #Diana# 5/17/2018 3:34 PM
it's not a zero-sum game. You shouldn't feel like you have to hold her back.
Avatar
This is a mutual agreement thing in my system
Avatar
bduddy #Diana# 5/17/2018 3:34 PM
Why wouldn't you trust her?
Avatar
Everyone wants and trusts me to be the main front
3:34 PM
I wouldn't do anything bad or to harm them
Avatar
It's not that--- no actually it is
3:35 PM
I'm sure our trust will grow as we go on
3:35 PM
but at least right now, I would not be comfortable with her becoming the primary
3:35 PM
I know she wouldn't harm me
3:35 PM
but I have serious goals that I want to pursue and it takes a great deal of time and effort
3:36 PM
and IDK if she'd put that in, at least RN I don't
3:37 PM
@Felight that's good that they want you to be the primary - I'm not knocking that; I'm just saying that I prefer to be my own primary, given that it's my life, my body and I've done all the effort to this point to maintain it (edited)
Avatar
That's cool. Usually tulpas don't want to be the main front if the host does.
3:41 PM
You should be fine
Avatar
cool
Avatar
bduddy #Diana# 5/17/2018 3:42 PM
there's no harm in waiting and being patient.
Avatar
I agree
3:43 PM
Also Ikari is hyper right now and I have no idea why
3:43 PM
she's like halfway between her cat form and human form...shes a freaking catgirl and she's boucing around the bunker like a supersonic tennis ball (edited)
thonkachu 2
3:44 PM
[WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE]
Avatar
Okay cool. Tmi
Avatar
Tmi?
3:45 PM
Was bedeutet das?
Avatar
Oh cool. I thought you said you blocked me
3:46 PM
I speak english
Avatar
well I unblocked you 😂
Avatar
Oh yeah. It was worthless. You kept replying anyways so eh
Avatar
I don't like the block system in Discord becaue it creates drop-down tabs that look terrible.
3:47 PM
I only tempblock people if they're pissing me off at the moment
3:47 PM
and then I still usually end up reading their shit xD
3:47 PM
I don't like being left out of convos lol
Avatar
Oh. Yeah. I think you blocked Harley because my host doesnt wanna marry his gf? I mean idk why really
3:47 PM
It's kinda weird
Avatar
not that
3:48 PM
well maybe that
3:48 PM
I don't remember anymore 😂
Avatar
Yeah no. It happened during that convo
Avatar
This is off-topic, guys. Please move it to #lounge.
Avatar
Which is really fucking weird
3:48 PM
Oh. Hey no
3:48 PM
We are gonna relate it back
Avatar
we are?
3:49 PM
how?
Avatar
Anyways dating your own tulpa is fucking annoying when you have trouble with talking to people in your system
Avatar
brilliant observation
3:49 PM
Dating anyone is annoying when you can't hear them lol
Avatar
They can hear
3:50 PM
Talking is just clunky
Avatar
well, ya know.....same difference
Avatar
I mean no. Lol
3:51 PM
But sure why the fuck not

There's something I've noticed about tulpas and hosts for a while now that I think would be interesting to discuss. I've seen this backed up in some polls too
5:08 PM
Has anyone else noticed that male hosts usually make female tulpas, while female hosts usually make male tulpas? Sometimes it's not just binary, but it still seems common from what I've seen
5:09 PM
And I don't think it's necessarily a romantic reason, since not everyone dates their tulpa or whatnot. Maybe opposites attract?
Avatar
I do think that is because most people are straight, or if bisexual, they prefer the opposite sex, still. I do think this helps when you are focusing on this thing for hours before it responds. It keeps you interested.
5:10 PM
I have been curious, as well, if it is an unconscious desire to want to see the world from the view of the opposite sex, at least as closely as they can.
Avatar
Deleted User 5/17/2018 5:11 PM
Yeah. Maybe some people also just want companionship from the opposite gender. I would imagine people tend to be friends with people of their own gender more irl, so having a tulpa who is of the opposite could give them a different experience
Avatar
bduddy #Diana# 5/17/2018 5:11 PM
my personal theory is that it's more to make the tulpa clearly different from the host.
